不是Paraclete
As noted, it is an alternate for the CIRAS. Similar to the Land variant. The BAE RBAV was designed by Matt Johnson, the same person who developed the CIRAS for Eagle. He was able to drop weight in a number of ways, including the use of 500d Cordura, but enhanced the design to beef up stress points.
Feedback so far has been really good, but there are only a handful of the vests outside of SOCOM. Production on them is going and dealers are supposed to be getting them fairly shortly.
Pricing looks to be better than the CIRAS, as well. I believe retail is right around $325 or so (but don't quote me on that!!).
Hoping to have a sample in shortly with some on hand to sell, as well. Also, I know ATS and Supply Captain are planning on stocking the BAE line.
One other thing to note for those LEOs out there, they will be introducing, very shortly, an LE version of the RBAV that incorporates Velcro into the MOLLE on the upper chest and upper back of the vest.
Giff
