Gentex EPS-21® Goggle
The Gentex EPS-21™ Combat Goggle is engineered to meet the challenges of an increasingly lethal tactical environment. Conventional munitions capable of producing fragmentation and laser targeting systems create a new threat which demands better protection for the end user. The EPS-21 provides maximum protection against ballistic fragmentary projectiles while also performing in the traditional role of a sun, wind, and dust goggle. The ballistic inner lens is 4mm of optically clear, anti-fog coated polycarbonate, which also provides long-term eye protection by blocking out harmful UV solar radiation. Various light challenges, including laser, are also protected against with the use of optional outsert lenses. The unique strap locking mechanism allows the goggle frame to be adjusted for a snug fit, even after releasing the goggle away from the face. The goggle system consists of a durable nylon frame with the clear ballistic lens, a universal strap that accommodates almost every type of helmet, a wide range of easily installed outsert lenses, and a carrying case to stow the goggle and accessories on standard load bearing equipment. Designed to meet rigorous requirements of combat eyewear, the EPS-21 Combat Goggle is also in use by police tactical units and military forces.
