The SOC-C Releasable Vest Sling (SOC-C-RVS) was designed from the ground up to integrate with the CIRAS vest system made by Eagle Industries. The sling becomes a component of the releasable mechanism and allows the weapon to instantly and reliably release from the vest when the cut-away pillow is pulled. It also eliminates two other common problems with vest mounted sling systems; 1) It uses a strap that comes over the shoulder and connects low in the back allowing the weight of a loaded weapon to be spread out over a larger area. 2) It doesn't pull the front of the vest down and reduce your armor coverage like slings that attach on or near the shoulder strap.
